WELCOME!

We are Leah Harper Bush and Tina Jones, owners of cotton + fox.

Here are some fun facts about us:

We briefly worked together at a children's dental office in 2010-2011.

In 2017, Tina got out of dentistry and bought an ultrasound studio (Sweet Peek) which now resides right inside of cotton + fox!

Leah left dentistry in 2015 to pursue her career as a realtor.

In 2018, Leah became pregnant and came to... you guessed it! Sweet Peek where we were reunited. During one of her visits she mentioned that it had been a dream of hers to open a baby boutique in Cartersville. Sweet Peek had a very small clothing section and Tina had dreams of expanding it as well. We both agreed that this was something that was greatly needed in this area and we committed to making this dream come true.

Tina's main job is as a Maternity/Birth/Newborn Photographer (www.tinajonesphotography.com) as well as performing the majority of ultrasounds at Sweet Peek. (www.sweetpeek3d.com) She is a mother of two, Sophia (11) and Nash (2).

Leah is a full time Realtor (www.handhrealty.net) and boy mom! She had herTHIRD boy (Baylor, or "Bo") in April 2019. He will be joining Cole (17) and Griffin (11).

What does cotton + fox mean?

When we were thinking of names for the store, Leah's first suggestion was cotton. We both agreed that we loved what cotton represents- organic, soft, southern. We were then on a mission to find something that went with cotton but was, in a way, opposite. Along the way, we dropped cotton and decided we loved fox (but not necessarily the animal). We nearly decided on fox + nine and also tossed around west + fox since we are on West Main, but neither of us could get cotton off of our brains so... we decided on cotton + fox. Cool, simple, fun.

Tina's likes: cooking (eating), good beer, hiking, pitbulls, all things photography

I cook just about every night! I also have a serious sweet tooth, I'm like a kid when it comes to candy!

Leah's likes: her dogs, gardening (though that is probably not in the cards this year), travel (on a beach with a cold drink, please!), keeping up with her son's activities.

We are so excited to be here, in the heart of Downtown Cartersville and to be able to offer you moms something this town has been missing for a long time. We strive to provide the best quality and style at all price points. We know you can go to the big chain stores, but we hope you will consider us for every day basics, accent pieces, gifts and cool accessories that you can't find elsewhere.
